Internship Opportunity: Adventure Company, Cape Town
Background:
An adventure company based in Cape Town is seeking an intern to assist them with the running of their Sea Kayak business. Founded in 1995, this company has been around for more than 20 years operating a successful business.
The Role:
In addition to gaining sales and marketing experience, the successful candidate will also acquire operational experience to become a sea kayak guide.
Working hours:
- 08h00 – 18h00 – 5 days a week.
Skills and Requirements:
- Problem-solving and open-minded
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Hard-working
- Good command of English
- Must be willing to assist with admin, social media, marketing, and the adventure side of the activity.
- Preference would be given to a male
- A basic stipend will be paid – note, not a salary as this is a temporary position for the season.
- Starting date in November, latest, beginning of December 2022
