If you want to work in the top level of sports media, then this is an excellent start. This opportunity is with one of the top sports facilities in South Africa. You will be working with some of the top sports teams in our country and in the world.
Social Media Internship:
The intern would support the social media team by assisting with the promoting of projects for the academy, success stories, people stories and more on all social media platforms. You will also be able to do photography, create special videos sharing the stories and do all forms of social or digital media. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are the common platforms they use, but they are open to suggestions.
Role of the intern:
Young people who study social media or digital marketing will be able to have a fresh look at using all platforms to draw attention to the work this company or academy does. They are looking forward to your new and fresh ideas. They are looking for the right candidate to write them a social media plan, update their media profile and increase awareness of their programs and work.
International names in the sporting world are involved as well as well-known brand sponsors. This should make it easier to create something great.
We are looking for an intern to join this team for 2 – 5 months. This will be one of those opportunities that will help you build a name for yourself (especially based on the fame of the program, the people and the teams involved). We are certainly looking for a dynamic young person who needs to do their internship. Good writing skills in English would be essential, as well as skills in photography, and videography.
Using your own initiative is important, so being a self-starter would be ideal. We also need you to have excellent personal communication skills as you will liaise with many people from different levels of professionalism.
Supervision:
You will always be supervised by people who are already in the team to ensure that you also learn during your internship.

We will sort this out when we have a client as it would depend on where we find housing in Stellenbosch or Cape Town. Includes good internet, water, cleaning service but excludes electricity just about everywhere which is only a little more and shared by the people in the house or apartment.
