Boat Trips

Bungee Jumping
The highest bridge jump in the world is on the Garden Route. This 216m high Bloukrans Bridge will put fear in you, but this is also a huge adrenaline rush. This is the ultimate adventure – although not for the faint-hearted.
Canopy Tours
Soar through the air like a bird and see the world from above while harnessed to a network of cable lines. Zip between picture perfect valleys and ancient trees, it is the perfect adrenaline rush for people who love the outdoors!
Cave Exploring
Oudtshoorn is about 5 hours drive from Garden Route. It is a beautiful town filled with historical sandstone buildings of great historical value. The Cango Caves is one of the most amazing places to visit in South Africa. Don’t miss this during your visit to the region. It is a must. Tours are at set times. Just be aware of that.
Hiking
We regularly accompany our students on the different hiking routes. Lions Head is the most common and one of the easier routes and is a must do activity. More difficult routes can be hiked, although never alone. Our mountains are some of the most spectacular activities to do in the city. You see unspoiled views that will create memories for many years to come.
Horse Riding
Guided beach rides leaving from Imhoff Farm Kommetjie, riding straight through the wetlands for about 20 minutes onto beautiful Noordhoek beach. Riding along the water’s edge towards Chapman’s Peak and back. A variety of wild life can often be seen on the beach rides, eg; birdlife, whales, otters and seals. All levels of riders accepted.
Jumping
Love to jump on trampolines? Visit the first indoor trampoline park in South Africa. Imagine an industrial warehouse filled with industrial trampolines but that’s not all... ever tried trampoline dodge ball, soccer or basketball? Ever wanted to leap into a foam pit? This is the place to visit.
Kayaking
Exploring the coast or rivers around the Garden Route and see the amazing bird life of the area. Other most popular trips offer relaxing paddling with spectacular views of the penguins, Signal Hill, Lions Head and Table Mountain.

Quad Biking
Race through the spectacular natural environment of the Cape Peninsula, on designated trails using a powerful quad bike! XChange South Africa gets good deals from companies to make this a fun adventure. Most of the time, its done outside the city in dunes or on farms.
Sandboarding
You like winter sport? Or always wanted to try something different? Then you definitely should try sandboarding. You will be given full instructions, taught how to easily master the basics to more advanced sandboarding techniques and of course, ensured that you have exciting, fun filled action. It’s an exhilarating, easy-to-learn adventure activity and a great introduction to snowboarding and other board sports.
Scuba Diving
There are opportunities to do diving lessons and get your qualifications. It is fairly expensive and you must commit for several weeks for a beginner course.
Seal Snorkeling
Seal Snorkeling has become a very popular activity. It is done from Hout Bay and you do your snorkeling at Seal island where thousands of seals play in the water. There are two to three trips per day.
Safari Tours
XChange South Africa co-operates with several Game farms in and around the Western Cape – some as close as 1h15 min from the city. We can offer you discounts for these wonderful farms for day drives or sleep-overs on the farms.
Shark Cage Diving
An adventure of a lifetime! You can expect to see Great White Sharks, Cape Fur Seals, Penguins and Whales during whale season. No diving experience is required. Transportation is included in the price with the packages we recommend and we will offer a decent discounted price to you. The company will personally pick you up from your house and drop you back off. Breakfast and lunch are also included. All diving equipment are provided onboard.
Sky Diving
Jumping out of an airplane at 10 000 feet and free falling for 30 seconds at 200 km per hour will absolutely blow you away! The sheer adrenaline rush of the free fall is combined with one of the most stunning aerial views of Cape Town. A personalized certificate and optional video will serve as a lasting memory of a unique experience. As this is a more expensive event, we will ensure we give our discount to you.
Surfing
You can do surfing in locations up the West Coast, Big Bay, as well as Muizenburg – which is the best for beginners. Learn from experienced instructors.You are guaranteed to be standing on a wave by the end of the day! This is fairly inexpensive and great for week-ends or after work.
Tobogganing
Try out the Capes version of snowless tobogganing. How is it possible? Through an intricate steel track laid into the side of a hill. With the wind in your hair and one hand on the gear lever and brake, there’s only one speed ... high-speed! As the toboggans zip up and down these steel tracks to provide a thrilling ride you won’t soon forget.
Township Tours
Visiting our townships is not advised if you do so by yourself. Avoid that. There are many reputable tour operators who can assist you in meeting people and see projects in the townships. Mzoli’s is also a famous township eatery, although we would not recommend you driving in these unknown area’s alone if you do not know where you should be going. Township tours can be arranged by us.
