Mechanical Engineering Internships

Mechanical engineering is an engineering branch that combines engineering physics and mathematics principles with materials science, to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering branches.

Cape Town is in the forefront of many exciting firms offering interesting opportunities for mechanical engineers. We have excellent universities offering degrees in this field of engineering. Generally, we have internship opportunities in factories – some very large, some smaller, but always with a good level of responsibility – making it a good learning experience. Past students participated in unique projects that have had a major impact on a specific project or even products named after them.
