Medical And Public Health Internships
For many years, South Africa has been known to offer great opportunities to medical students in hospitals, clinics or other facilities in medicine, dentistry, radiology, radiography, and other types of therapies. There is a high demand for healthcare and state hospitals in low-income areas of the city and public hospitals as clinics lack sufficient funding for additional staff to meet demands. Heart specialization, emergency medicine, pediatric medicine, TB, HIV/Aids are all popular fields.
There is a registration process involved with medical internships in general and we will provide you the information necessary. You have to apply way in advance as it involves registration with a local university as well. An internship in SA will offer you first-hand access to South Africa’s public healthcare system and will expose you to a wide-range of opportunities and a great learning experience that you will carry with you for a lifetime. You will work alongside qualified healthcare professionals at one of community healthcare clinics or hospitals where a professional person will supervise your internship.
